Frequently Asked Questions

How often should my car be serviced?

Most vehicle manufacturers recommend you get a full service every year or every 12,000 miles which ever comes sooner. If you are racking up the mileage quickly or you are going on a long distance drive an interim service may be advisable.

Is a service mandatory?

In short no, many people choose to book their service in the same time as their MOT which causes the common misconception that it is required. Although any legitimate mechanic will tell you it is highly recommended. Not doing so may also invalidate any warranty you may have with your vehicle.

Can you stamp my service book?

Yes we can, getting us to stamp the service record that comes with your new vehicle increases the resale value of your vehicle by providing proof to any potential buyer that you looked after the vehicle and is less likely to break down on them.

How long does it take?

An interim service normally takes around 1 hour, a full service can take as long as 3 hours.
